Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release
Deep Tissue Massage
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy that is used to treat pain and restriction of motion. Direct myofascial release (deep tissue work) concentrates on the myofascial tissue restrictive barrier. Myofascial release stretches and elongates fascia, releasing adhesive tissues that can restrict movement. The massage therapist will first work on the upper layers of fascia, working through the layers to reach the deep tissues.
